Roneo Colts FC was founded in 1999. The simple aim was to offer children, of all ages, a chance to play football and, above all, enjoy playing it. The club has grown and grown over the years and has nine teams entering the 2009-10 season, from Under-7 to Under-14, playing in the Chelmsford Youth League. Roneo Colts has fully established its standing in the Greater London and Essex football communuities and is currently close to attaining FA Charter Standard status.

Each team is managed by a parent who is CRB checked and will usually have at least an FA Level One certificate in coaching, plus First Aid and Child Protection certificates. Everyone is welcome to join in - this is a family club which encourages participation and positive feedback.

The primary role of Roneo Colts FC is to ensure the players feel they can become an integral part of the club, irrespective of age, gender, colour or ability - and have fun while they are doing it.
